The Sword of the Morning

Ser Arthur Dayne, also known as the Sword of the Morning, is a legendary figure in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire. He was a member of the Kingsguard during the reign of King Aerys II Targaryen, and was known for his skill with a sword and his unwavering loyalty to his king.

A Knight Without Peer

Dayne was born in Starfall, the seat of House Dayne. He was the eldest son of Lord Dayne, and was trained in the art of swordsmanship from a young age.
